BLACK . - William (West Linton) Very many thanks to everyone who sent cards, flowers and letters - or made phone calls of condolence to Sheila, Janelle and Jamie after Bill’s death and to the very many people who attended his funeral. It has been so comforting to all the family. We also wish to thank the Rev. Rachel Dobie and the Rev. Pamela Strachan most sincerely, for their very uplifting Services and, of course, to Dr. Elliot Longworth for his glorious rendition of, “The Trumpet Voluntary,” to conclude the service in West Linton Parish Church..  Thanks also go to Mr. Jim Grandison for his helpful professionalism.   Last, but certainly not least, to ALL the Carers and ALL the Staff of West Linton Health Centre for their care, courtesy and TLC over many years. It is all very much appreciated. We are very grateful to everyone who contributed to the Retiring Collection for, “Chest, Heart and Stroke,” (Scotland) which raised £885.00.
