WITH the sevens circuit set to roll at Gala on April 6, Peebles were first out of the hat with their draw made on Friday night at The Gytes.

There was no place for previous winners, Boroughmuir.

“They did not turn up last year, so we did not invite them,” said sevens convener Allan Beveridge.

In the open draw – there were no seeds - holders Watsonians will face Hawick in the first tie while the draw did not favour Peebles, who will face Jed-Forest.

And there is an appetising tie between Selkirk and Gala.

The full draw for the Tweed Homes Sevens on Sunday, April 26 is:

Hawick v. Watsonians.

Selkirk v. Gala.

Biggar v. Haddington.

Melrose v. Berwick.

Heriot’s v. Hamilton.

Edinburgh Accies v. Kelso.

Jed-Forest v. Peebles.

Musselburgh v. Langholm.

First tie is at 1.30 p.m.
