THE café became the latest performance space at Peebles' Eastgate Theatre when the recently formed Eastgate Café Orchestra was joined for its premiere performance by Robert McFall, artistic director of the internationally renowned Mr McFall’s Chamber.
An informal grouping of local musicians who usually perform with different ensembles, the orchestra is the latest addition to the Eastgate’s packed performance programme.
The musicians playing at the premiere were Charlotte Petersen, Andy Cameron, Jane Greig, Frances Taylor, Rob Adams, Wilma Bouwmeister, Robbie Tatler and, of course, Robert McFall.
