TWEEDDALE MP David Mundell has called for nominations for this year’s Scottish Rural Awards.
The Scottish Rural Awards celebrate excellence in the Scottish Countryside, and aims to highlight hard work, innovation and dedication of the people who run rural businesses.
Nominations are considered by experts over a nine month process, with the awards ceremony taking place at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh in March 2016.
Mr Mundell said: “The Scottish Rural Awards are a chance to nominate some of Scotland’s favourite rural businesses, and I think we’ve got some great examples of rural businesses locally.
“We’ve had some great entries in the past, but the Peeblesshire has so much to offer and I wanted to make sure that we have some great entries again this year.”
