CHILDREN at Halyrude Primary School in Peebles are planning to send Christmas gifts in shoe boxes to those in need on Eastern Europe and Asia.
Sue Thurston, a parent from the school, came in to share a film with them about the work of Blythwood Care, the charity which sends the gifts.
The children were delighted to support this worthy cause and are sure that the gifts will be well received.
