VOLUNTEERS cleaned up at a family fun day in the Borders.
Young and old alike took part in a community effort to spruce up the Pirn Wood at Innerleithen.
The main tasks carried out on the day were cutting back branches, tidying paths and a general tidying up of the woodland.
“We wanted to make it more attractive and everybody did a great job,” said Ross McGinn, chairman of the Innerleithen Community Trust, which organised the clean-up.
