POLICE are investigating an attempted theft of a quad bike in Tweedsmuir.
The shed where the quad bike is stored had been broken into. The quad bike has been tampered with but not removed on this occasion.
Kirsty Neish (Police Scotland, Constable, Scottish Borders said: “Quad bikes continue to be an attractive target for criminals.
"Please ensure that your quad bike is secured, stored in a secure environment and the keys are stored safely away from the quad bike itself.”
