WORLD Chocolate Master, Ruth Hinks, is giving away her secret brownie recipe to help Marie Curie.

The Cocoa Black chocolatier from Peebles has teamed up with kitchen utility company Franke in a bid to raise cash for the cancer charity.

Between them they have developed a delicious chocolate brownie recipe, which now available to download from www.franke.co.uk/charity in return for a donation.

Ruth told us: “These are the most indulgent chocolate brownies you’ll ever taste.”

Also on the website is an instructional video from Ruth that gives a step-by-step guide full of hints and tips for a successful bake.

After donating, there is a chance for anyone to win a prize by uploading a photo of themselves with an inspirational message for Marie Curie, to the Franke Facebook or on Twitter account @FrankeUK using the hashtag #BloomingGreat.

And it doesn’t stop there.

Over 180 Franke retailers across the UK are hosting their own Blooming Great Tea Parties over the weekend of June 24 to 26 to help raise money for Marie Curie.

Each retailer will have a supply of the delicious chocolate brownies, baked by Ruth.

Last year, Franke contributed more than £3000 to the final total of £650,000 raised across the country through the Blooming Great Tea Parties, which funded 32,500 hours of vital nursing care.
