AN election will take place on Thursday, July 28 to determine the make-up of this year's West Linton Community Council.
A total of 13 candidates are contesting the nine places on the community council.
The candidates are:

Jeremy Everest
Susan Groat
Natalija Hepworth
Angela Holliday
Gavin Jefcoate
Fiona Lawson
Anne McKenzie
Carn Peaston
Eric Small
Marion Storrie
Graham Tulloch
All those in the West Linton Community Council area, who are entitled to vote in a local government election on that day, can vote in the ballot - 16 and 17 year olds are also entitled to vote at this election.
They will be required to provide proof of address and date of birth.
Voting opens at 3pm until 8pm on July 28 in West Linton Primary School.
Each voter will be entitled to nine votes.
The nine seats will be filled by the nine candidates with the highest number of votes.
