A DUNFERMLINE Women's Aid worker faces being struck off after allegedly calling another woman a “slut”, “psychotic” and a “bad mother”.

Support worker Lesley Clunas also called the woman “a lying, manipulative, violent bully who hits pensioners” and left an abusive voicemail about her stillborn child.

She is now scheduled to appear before the Scottish Social Services Council's (SSSC) conduct sub-committee for a hearing on August 2, 3 and 4 in Dundee.

She faces several allegations relating to her employment as a support worker with Fife Women's Aid in Dunfermline between May and June 2014. The charity supports women, children and young people experiencing domestic abuse.

Ms Clunas is charged with using her work mobile to “excessively contact” the woman more than 70 times between May 13 and June 15.

She is accused of calling the woman at 4.30am and sending her 32 text messages on June 14 alone, calling her a “slut” in at least one text.

Another abusive message allegedly sent by Ms Clunas stated: “You’re a bad mother making him go to court, it’s all your fault. You totally exaggerated what happened. Tell the truth to the PF don’t make BB a witness. You can stop all this now.”

She is also claimed to have said: “It’s not as if he gave you a doing. Your alleged assault never happened.”

Ms Clunas is further accused of threatening the woman, saying: “You better make sure BB’s statement isn’t full of lies cos I know exactly everything that happened that night and you know I know that. If it doesn’t I’m coming for you and BB I swear.

“You’re psychotic, you meet every trait on the scale. You’re a lying, manipulative, violent bully who hits pensioners and is violent towards men.”

It's also claimed she sent a message saying: “I heard about your still born, oh and I want to know where’s the death certificate I want to know the sex of that child … you have an hour to phone back.”

The remaining charges relate to the number of calls, voicemails, text and photo messages Ms Clunas allegedly left for the woman. There were no details on the content of these messages.
