BIGGAR Little Festival is back with a larger programme of events on offer.

Spread over 10 days, the Arts extravaganza, is packing in 70 different events, meaning there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Featuring a variety of events such as; comedy, drama, dance, street festival, great food, puppetry, music, beerfest, gin masterclass - the list goes on.

Among this year's lineup, Scottish comedian Fred MacAuley will be performing, best known for his appearances at the Edinburgh Festival, and bringing his wit to the airwaves on the radio. 

A range of theatrical events include from dark comedy, 'Gingerbread Lady', to musical 'Beyond the Rainbow', and comedy 'The Long and Short of It'.

Moving to music, there's a mix to suit many tastes, such as; jazz music, rock and blues. Popular folk musicians, Skippinish will also be performing, plus tributes to ABBA and Lionel Richie also feature on the lineup.

The festival has a variety of arts and crafts including a showcase from visiting artists Ian Holman and Ellen McCann, arts workshops and exhibitions from Biggar schools. An adventure through the Open Studios Trail offers an opportunity to travel through the landscape of the area.

Taste the Taj’s Tantalising Treats or celebrate a traditional brew at Biggar Beer and Gin Festival - and eat out in Biggar’s restaurants, cafes and bars. 

Enjoy the carnival mood with the many free events, including the biggest ever Biggar Day Out, music in the streets and bars and art exhibitions in shops and venues, and stroll through historic Biggar during the festival.

Children of all ages can fly their Kite, climb the ice Wall or go on a bush trail. Puppet Theatre and Mr Boom and a host of other events will thrill the kids.
