EAST Lothian residents are being warned to expect extremely strong winds overnight and into tomorrow (Thursday), with some travel disruption possible.
The Met Office has issued a yellow 'be aware' warning of wind for the county for the period from 1am tomorrow morning until 1pm in the afternoon.
The Met Office says that gales and locally severe gales are expected to develop across the county during this period, with gusts of 50-60 mph.
The worst of the wind is expected to hit the county during mid-morning, between about 9.30am and 11.30am.
The Met Office is warning that potential impacts could include minor travel disruption and residents are urged to take extra care on the roads.
