A PEEBLES man who admitted threatening behaviour by shouting and swearing, continually pressing a doorbell and repeatedly kicking a door has been fined £150.
Raymond Thomson of Violet Bank, appeared from custody at Jedburgh Sheriff Court after a warrant was granted for his arrest following the incident at a house in Kingsland Square, Peebles, on August 24.
Defence lawyer Ross Dow explained his client had been friends with the occupier of the house but there had been a falling out and Thomson had gone round to remonstrate with him.
He added the pair had since made up.
