A LANARKSHIRE pub has been celebrating after fundraising nearly £12,000 for a cancer charity over the last 17 years.
In their latest fundraiser, The Cross Keys in Biggar have raised £860 for Macmillan Cancer Care.
The pub have received the money through collection tins on the bar and through their annual quiz.
Past charity events have included a race night.
George Stewart has owned The Cross Keys for 32 years, and started collecting money for Macmillan in 1999.
He told the Peeblesshire News: "I'm very happy to help out with such a good cause. We've supported Macmillan Cancer Care for a number of years, and they do an amazing job.
"Together with the recent £860 raised, we have collected an incredible £11,850 for the charity over the past 17 years. Thank you to everyone who has donated at the pub."
