THE Principals for this year's Biggar Gala Week have been officially announced.
And this weekend the supporting cast of the Queen's Court will also be unveiled.
Biggar Cornet's Club have selected John Scott as the latest in a long line of Cornets.
The 32-year-old former member of the RAF, who works at Prestwick, grew up in the town and has appeared twice as a child in the Queen's Court.
John will take over as Cornet Elect when the 2017 Cornet, Simon Kane, is installed as Cornet in June.
The 2016 Cornet Fraser McNair will take on the position of Right Hand Supporter.
Fleming Queen Elect has been announced as Iona Simpson.
The primary school pupil was officially announced on Monday evening in the Masonic Lodge.
And this year's Crowning Lady will be Deborah Lavery.
The 2017 Biggar Gala Week rideout will take place on Sunday, June 11 with Gala Day taking place the following Saturday (June 17).
