MEMBERS of the Ettrick and Lauderdale Young Farmers brought the house down last month with their fantastic variety concert, Rocky Road.
A packed Volunteer Hall in Galashiels enjoyed the evening of song, dance and plenty of laughs.
The 20-strong cast of young farmers thrilled the audience of 340 with a selection of rock songs to open as well as several hilarious comedy sketches.
An interval raffle, with many local businesses and club members donating prizes, helped raise money for the Margaret Kerr Unit at Borders General Hospital.
Bar donations brought the total raised on the evening up to an impressive £820.
Last week members of the Ettrick and Lauderdale Young Farmers handed over the cheque to staff at the Unit.
Jessica Marwick from the Ettrick and Lauderdale Young Farmers said: "The club was delighted with the show and thank you to everyone who was involved in the organisation and big thank you to the producer Amanda Renwick."
