THE second competition at the Peebles Camera Club was judged by Penicuik’ Dougie Allen, assessing 21 prints and 42 digital images.
Dougie gave constructive comments on all entries and then gave the scores for each.

Brian Henry scored highest in both sections with 19 points for Stobo Gardens in prints and Lochan on the Rannoch in the digital images. Other high scorers with 18 points were photos by David Graham (Double Vision), Barbara Furphy (Iris), Kathy Henry (Rabbit) and Margaret Jamie (Sunset over Scurdie Ness) in the print section.

Colette Burke (Brown but Beautiful) and Barbara Furphy (Riding of the Marches) scored 18 in digital images. A further ten entries scored 17 points in the section.

At the next meeting on Wednesday, March 1 there will a brief review of the latest competition; but as this is a members evening, individuals will be showing their images and telling us why these are special to them. The meeting in the Community Centre starts at 7.30pm.
