POLICE have launched an investigation following an attempted break-in at a shop in West Linton.
The incident happened between the evening of Saturday, May 20 and the morning of Sunday, May 21 at J&R Bell newsagents.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police in the Borders are investigating following an attempted break in at a newsagents in Main Street, West Linton.
“Inquiries are currently ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1670 of May 21."
