A PEEBLES parade has rolled into town for the 11th year to raise money for charity.
Farming vehicles and vintage cars flowed through the roads of Peeblesshire, including Peebles High Street for the annual Tractor Parade on Saturday (May 27).
The event, which has raised £68,000 over the past ten years, saw 68 vehicles on parade in aid of Macmillan Nurses.
Organiser Anne Weir told the Peeblesshire News: “Of the vehicles which took part this year, we also had one Ferret scout car and a JCB. We hope that once again, the generous people of Peeblesshire have dug deep and donated. Anything we raise this year will be announced around mid-August.
“I’d like to add a big thank you to everyone who got involved, plus a huge thank you to our lovely sponsors for the run, ATB Handlers, Whitemoss Garage and Nichol Bros.”
The 56-mile route set off from Blyth Bridge at 9.30am and travelled through Broughton, Tweedsmuir, St Marys Loch, Tibbieshiels, the Gordon Arms, Paddy Slacks, Traquair, Cardona, Kailzie, Peebles High Street, plus the Eastgate car park before returning to Blyth Bridge at 4pm.
