A PEEBLES-based dance school is celebrating after maintaining its 100 per cent exam pass rate.
More than 200 pupils from the Fiona Henderson School of Dance took examinations over the past year, with 92 of those achieving the grade of Highly Commended and Honours.
Principal teacher Fiona Henderson told the Peeblesshire News: “I am absolutely delighted that once again [our] exam results are so strong.
“We focus on preparing our pupils thoroughly for their examinations and these tremendous results are tribute to the practise and dedication of our pupils and the support of their teachers and parents.
“Our pupils work very hard all year improving the technical aspects of their dancing through preparing and sitting examinations.
“They then have the opportunity to showcase their progress through their performances in the three dance shows the school stages each year.”
