RESURFACING works are to be carried out on a Peeblesshire road later this month.
The A702 road from Hartside to Carlops will see disruption from Saturday, August 12 until Monday, August 14.
The work will be carried out between the hours of 6am and 8pm.
This scheme will benefit around 6,555 vehicles, which use this stretch of the A702 each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and associated verges, and reducing the need for future, more extensive maintenance.
Traffic will be escorted through the works via a convoy system, and road users should plan their journey times accordingly.
This work has been planned in consultation with Transport Scotland, Traffic Scotland, the emergency services, Stagecoach and Scottish Borders Council.
Real-time journey information can be obtained by visiting www.trafficscotland.org or via Twitter: @TrafficScotland.
