VANDALS have defaced several community spots across Peebles.
A number of reports of graffiti and vandalism have been made to Police Scotland over the past two days after incidents at locations around the town - The Ex Servicemens Club on School Brae, Tweed Green, the Wishing Well Area and Hay Lodge Park.
Inquiries are ongoing to establish if these incidents are linked and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
Inspector Tony Hodges said: "It is incredibly disappointing to see that so many areas of Peebles have been targeted and I would urge anyone who can help us identify those responsible to come forward.
"Members of the public may also be aware of other incidents of vandalism in the area and I would urge them to come forward and report these so we can investigate thoroughly."
