OVER 100 young readers have completed the national summer reading challenge at Peebles Library.
A total of 112 children were tasked with reading a minimum of six library books over two months.
Clare Donaldson, library assistant at Peebles Library said: “The library staff were delighted with the enthusiasm the children showed both for reading and for sharing their views on what they read.
“Some of the children attended a presentation of medals and certificates at the library recently. Very well done to all who participated.”
