A CARDRONA woman has made a heartfelt appeal to help find her lost pet cat.
Lynne Bertram contacted the Peeblesshire News after her 18-month-old male cat Mowgli, a Maine Coon breed, went missing two weeks ago.
She said: "He was last seen on Friday, September 29 at 6.45pm in Cardrona. My family are all so upset as he is much loved pet, who is very friendly and vocal.
"We fear he might be stolen because of his breed. I just want to make people in the area aware he is missing, in case they think he is a stray and take him in.
"If anyone has seen him, or knows of his whereabouts, please call 07887 40865."
