Police name A701 crash victim
POLICE have identified the woman who died in a crash on the A701 last week as Joan Mellors from Peebles.
The 86-year-old was travelling with an 84-year-old passenger when her silver Honda Jazz overturned near Blyth Bridge on Wednesday.
Road Policing Officers are continuing with their inquiries and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
Those with information can contact the Road Policing Unit in Galashiels via 101, quoting incident number 1276 of 11 October.
