SNOWBOUND guests at an award-winning spa in Peeblesshire are enjoying extra nights on the house.
Dozens of guests were due to check out of Stobo Castle today after enjoying relaxing breaks.
But heavy snow and freezing temperatures have led to all surrounding roads being only passable with extreme care.
Bosses at the luxury resort have invited all departing guests to stay for at least one more night free of charge – and they are throwing in free meals as well.
Jenni Watts, marketing manager at Stobo, told us: “They are invited to stay free of charge, all meals included - the safety of our guests comes first.”
All clients who were due to arrive at Stobo Castle today have been advised to rebook.
