EDDLESTON Village Hall will throw open its doors this weekend to host its annual coffee morning with a variety of musical entertainment.

The event will take place from 10am to 12.30pm on Saturday, March 17.

Lorraine Mulholland said: “A coffee morning is an ideal opportunity for the local community to come together for refreshments and entertainment and to celebrate (hopefully) the start of Spring.

“As well as the usual teas/coffees there will be a range of stalls selling home baking, books and a raffle, tombola and lucky dip.

“Our talented musicians are putting together an uplifting and lively programme of music for the event.

“Pentland Plants are kindly donating plants to sell so this is a perfect chance to stock up on some greenery for your house and garden”.

Entry is by a £1.50 donation on the door, which will include refreshments, with all money raised will go to Eddleston Parish Church.
