Latest Peebles police report reveals how many parking tickets were issued last month
POLICE are continuing to clamp down on motorists who flout parking laws in Peebles.
In the latest police report, dated between March 9 and April 10, a total of 28 parking tickets were issued to drivers by officers.
Ten have been issued in the Old Town, six along Peebles High Street, four in School Brae, four in the Northgate and four in the Eastgate.
Of that figure, one driver was issued with a ticket for parking in a disabled space on Peebles High Street.
