THIEVES have stolen two high-value mountain bikes from a home in Clovenfords.
The break-in happened overnight between late on Wednesday, April 18 and the early hours of Thursday, April 19 in the Smithy Row area of the village.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Entry was forced to a garage and two mountain bikes stolen. They are described as a turquoise, orange and black "Orange 324" bike, and a purple "Orange 5" bike.
"Inquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Galashiels Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 0574 of 19 April, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
