POLICE are appealing for information after being unable to track down a stolen quad bike.
The off-road vehicle was taken from a secure farm shed near the village of Skirling just over a fortnight ago.
It is thought the thieves stolen the Yamaha 450 EPS between 10pm on Monday, April 17 and 5.30 the following morning.
Tracks show that the quad was driven along back roads towards Crookboat Farm in Sandilands.
PC Claire White said: "We're continuing to investigate the theft and we're keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen or heard anything suspicious."
Anyone with information is asked to call PC White at Galashiels Police Station on 101 quoting incident 386 of April 17, or alternatively the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
