RESIDENTS aged over 65 across Peeblesshire are being offered the chance to brush up on their driving skills this spring.
Drivewise Older Drivers are hosting several free refresher sessions to help anyone over the age of 65 feel more confident behind the wheel.
The two-hour sessions will each start at 10.30am and will give attendees the chance to find out about advances in motor vehicle technology and safer driving practices.
There will also be the chance to book a free lesson with qualified advanced driving instructors.
Events will be held in Peebles’ Burgh Hall on June 20, West Linton’s Grahame Institute on June 27 and Innerleithen’s Memorial Hall on August 29.
For more information on the sessions, which do not need to be booked in advance, can be found at www.scotborders.gov.uk/olderdriver
