A PEEBLES man threatened to slit another man's throat if he turned up in court, it is alleged.
Michael Snodgrass, 35, of George Street, faces a charge of threatening or abusive behaviour towards Colin Boyle - the accused in a case which he is alleged to have attempted to murder him - and attempted to pervert the course of justice.
The offence is said to have happened in Tesco in Peebles on May 6.
A trial date has been fixed for July at Selkirk Sheriff Court with an intermediate hearing on June 18.
