THE Borders village of West Linton was packed on Friday evening as visitors from far and wide flocked to witness the installation of this year’s Whipman and Lass.
And luckily for the organisers, the forecast thunderstorms didn’t get in the way of disrupting the annual event, which went without a hitch.
Following the installation, and the dancing of the reel, this year’s Whipman and Lass saddled up to lead a parade around the town.
