A 27-year-old man has been accused of carrying out an assault within the cells area at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Harrison Long of no fixed abode pleaded not guilty to a charge of assaulting Robert Ramsay by punching him to the face to his injury within the court building on June 19.
He will stand trial at Selkirk Sheriff Court on August 2 and was remanded in custody.
