And they are open to suggestions for any proposed work that focusses on aiding the practical independent participation for customers.

The Live Borders team is also committed to ensuring that as many people as possible can access a pool within a reasonable distance from their home

Alan Oliver, Sport Development Officer, for charity Live Borders, said: “It’s fantastic that Live Borders is in a position to make positive equipment enhancements to our changing rooms and poolside throughout our estate.

“We welcome customers expressing their views and we are proactively seeking customer opinions to ensure we implement changes that will encourage more practical, independent participation while providing new opportunities for the community to participate in swim activities.”

This consultation is aimed at reaching out to numerous community groups, schools, families and carers across the area, safeguarding customer involvement, independence and increasing aquatic participation in a discrete and user-friendly manner.
