The A702 was closed
THE A702 near Biggar has re-opened after a road traffic accident.
Police say they were contacted at 4:52am to attend the scene at Candy Mill, three miles north of Biggar.
A police spokesperson said: "There was two cars involved, but there doesn't appear to be any serious injuries. One person was treated at the scene.
"The road between the A701 and the A702 was closed at 6am, but traffic was allowed to pass through at 6:33am," he added.
"The road was fully opened just before 7am."
