LOCAL curry-lovers already know where to go for one of the best meals round.
And judges for the Scottish and Entertainment Hospitality Awards have found out as well.
They tasted the delicious food at the Taj Mahal and decided it merited the award of the Best Indian Cuisine in Scotland.
The restaurant in High Street, Biggar was honoured in a glittering ceremony at the Thistle Hotel in Glasgow.
Maitre’d Abed Ullah said: “We are delighted to receive this award - the judges must have enjoyed our curries.
“We’ve got a good team working for us here. We take time to listen to our customers to find out what they are looking for.”
