PRIMARY seven pupils at Broughton Primary School were lucky enough to have their well deserved Farmhouse Breakfast, the prize for winning the 2014 Farmhouse Breakfast Competition 2014.
It was a feast fit for a king! The lovely ladies who cooked the breakfast were called Ann Welsh and Mary Smith. The primary 7s had a three course breakfast - for starters they had the most succulent fruit salad followed by delicious honey and raisin covered porridge all topped off with a delicious sausage roll or two.
“The breakfast was so scrumptious I could eat it all over again,” exclaimed Hannah Roper P7.
Broughton Primary School turned out in force to support Sport Relief. Lots of children rose to the challenge of clocking up the miles in the school playground in total the children ran the equivalent of two marathons.
The children also supported the charity by buying wristbands and they will be competing in the Great Broughton Bake Off this Thursday. Some of the Broughton children also took part in the Sainsbury’s Sports Relief Mile 2014.
