THE sun shone, the sheep bleated, the jam set and the horses jumped - who could ask for more.
The 94th Yarrow Show proved that the traditions of the rural Borders are alive and as popular as ever on Saturday.
Thousands flocked to the Carterhaugh show-ring like they’ve been doing on and off since 1906.
And farmers, breeders, growers and cooks all earned their place on the latest roll of honour.
Sheep entries were very strong with Billy Renwick of Blackhouse coming out top with the champion Blackfaced Sheep and indeed following on with the Overall Champion Sheep in the Show.
