QUESTIONS about local GP and Pharmacy services, as well as hospital transport issues, are included in a health survey being conducted by Tweeddale MSP Christine Grahame.

Residents are being urged to fill in a survey about NHS services that is being sent to their home.

It has been produced after Ms Grahame was contacted by many constituents about the future for Hay Lodge and other local health services.

NHS Borders is reviewing services and during Ms Grahame’s discussions with them she has advised them she will consult with local residents about various issues and ask about any improvements people would like to see.

Ms Grahame said: “I would urge people living in Tweeddale to fill in the survey, preferably through my website: www.christinegrahame.com. This is simpler and saves public cost in postage.

“If people do not have internet access I have sent a form to each household which can be filled in and sent back to me via a Freepost address that is printed on the form.

“If for any reason someone living in the area does not receive a survey through the post the can call my office (0131 348 5729) and I will send one out.” The consultation will remain open until 4pm on Friday, March 13.
