VILLAGERS in Broughton will soon be sun worshipping to cut their hall costs.
The committee of the villahe hall have applied for permission to site 16 solar panels on land at the end of the adjacent car park.
It is hoped the income from the generated power will reduce rental and other costs associated with the hall.
The full planning application is being considered by Scottish Borders Council.
