DAVID Semler, an internationally-respected, London-based, speaker on the fifth dimension, will be presenting talks at the Tontine Hotel, Peebles on Tuesday June 3 at 1pm, 4pm and 7.30pm.

The title of the talk is “Are you Psychic Or Is It Hogwash? Admission is £10.

David takes the view that everyone has psychic ability but that it is much more about what goes on inside of us than the conventional view of the “fortune teller” who tries to impress us with things we already know about ourselves.

”I help people harness their inner nature so they can accomplish their dreams - that is what being psychic really means,” he said.

“It is about knowing what we really want and being able to make it a reality. It is not hard once we are able to discern what it is we truly want. This is when our life starts coming together. Factor in a little thing called attitude plus a little action and it all falls into place.

“It is true that there have been some pretty impressive things done out there in relation to the psychic field but at the end of the day being psychic is much more about what goes on inside you. I aim to help people realise that the experiences they have had are valid.

“While someone of a scientific frame of mind may often give you a hefty argument, it is hard to argue with your own personal experience. This is what my talks and workshops do. They help people understand their own experiences. For example, if someone had heard their name called and there is no one there (which is a very common experience) what is that? Why do dreams sometimes seem as real as waking life? What is déjà vu? Why do we often know what is on someone’s mind? Why do we often instinctively know when a situation is right for us or not? Where do hunches come from? Some people see colours around people-auras? The list is endless. ….healing, visions, precognition to name just a few.

“Once a person starts to recognize that their experiences are valid then they can start to build a life that is based on their inner desires and take a giant leap forward. For people who do want to go a further step forward I also present follow up workshops.

“The talk takes a non-dogmatic approach to the subject respecting the fact that everyone has a point of view and to them it is sacred.” David is a well-known speaker who has presented lectures on three continents and been the subject of many newspaper, radio and TV interviews.
