Innerleithen residents encouraged to give blood
INNERLEITHEN residents are encouraged to give blood.
A blood donor session will be held in the Memorial Hall on Monday, June 19 from 4pm-7.30pm.
There is blood on standby for every birth type matched to the mother. It is needed to treat premature babies, cancer patients and without it there could be no operations or A&E wards.
All existing donors are urged to attend.
New donors are required - aged 17 and over.
