AN appeal has been made for a stand-in cub leader to keep the Innerleithen pack on track.
Current leader Stephen McLaughlin is unable to offer a full-time commitment over the summer months due to work.
And hopes someone locally will take over for the three months.
Stephen said: “My attendance will be erratic over the summer as I have to work away.
“We need someone to keep things going.” The Innerleithen Cubs folded last summer.
And the pack, which attracts 22 boys every Thursday night, was only resurrected at the start of this year.
The cubs meet between 6.15pm and 7.30am at St Ronan’s School.
