A PEEBLES chiropractor has celebrated ten years in the Borders.

Since first opening their doors on November 1, 2006, business at the Borders Chiropractic, on Cherry Street, Peebles, has proved to be challenging and rewarding for owner Pamella Chu.

During the first few years of trading, Pamella juggled several jobs to support the business, with many days spanning between 13 and 14 hours, across six days a week.

Despite the early struggles, Pamella has come out of the other side fighting, with the hard work paying off and things going from strength to strength.

Throughout the past decade, her business has expanded, adding further treatments, with continued investment as the years have gone by.

In addition to holding a degree in chiropractic, she has also obtained a diploma in sports science chiropractic, plus a masters degree in western medical acupuncture, and also trained to expand her knowledge for further treatment of sports injuries, babies, children and pregnant women.

As the service celebrates it’s 10th birthday, the clinic offers a huge array of treatments of patients, with various therapies, techniques, support and advice.

Pamella told the Peeblesshire News: “Me and the wonderful team at the Borders Chiropractic are delighted to be celebrating our 10 year anniversary this week.

“As a small business in the Borders we are delighted to have been able to continue to grow over the last 10 years despite various challenges along the way.

“We thoroughly enjoy helping our patients get well and are we’re very grateful that they frequently recommend us to family and friends.

“We would like to thank them and everyone else who has helped us get to where we are today.”
