A POWER outage has left residents and businesses without electricity in Peebles and Innerleithen.
Both towns has been without a power supply for around an hour.
A spokesperson for Tweedlove has invited residents to pop down to Tweed Green for drinks and food: "Unfortunately there has been a power cut in Peebles and the surrounding area. However, the Shimano Tweedlove event village is using generators!
"Anyone in the local area looking for a warm drink, hot food or a cold beer, head on down! We have plenty of choice on offer for you!"
Scottish Power said: "Our engineers are en-route to investigate the powercut in Innerleithen and Peebles. We are also working to restore supplies remotely."
Power is estimated to be resorted at around 1.45pm.
