On the last cheque presentation of his presidency, and with fellow Rotarian Jim Moore, Ken Morrison of the Rotary Club of Peebles handed over a cheque for £250 over to Chief Callant Craig Lusk.
The money will be used to buy daffodil bulbs that the Callants will plant along the banks of the Tweed to replace those washed away by the flood last year.
This concludes the Club’s 70th year donations which have reached £7000 to international and local charities and good causes.
