EXPECT a dash of diary entries, poetry perfection and some wonderful writing by one of Scotland's greatest writers to be brought to life by at Carlops Village Hall next month.

Australian folk musicians Neil Adam and Judy Turner have come to Scotland for their latest tour, 'The Robert Louis Stevenson Show: Sing me a song'. The performance is based on the Scottish writers' poetry, which is put to music arranged by the duo.

After starting his professional musical career with renowned Scottish folk band Silly Wizard in the 1970s, Neil later emigrated to Australia, where he and Judy met.

Neil performs the guitar and vocals, while Judy is on the fiddle and ukulele.

The pair spent time in Scotland in 2015 with the Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club on a tour which saw concerts all over the north of Scotland and in Shetland, as well as a performance in St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh.

The one hour show will take place at Carlops Village Hall on Saturday, October 7 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for children. There is also an option to by pay cash only at the door.
