A PEEBLES garden has a bolder appearance thanks to a community group.
The team from Bonnie Peebles have used money raised from their year-round fundraising events to install a new fence and gate at the town's Northgate Garden - which is maintained by the group.
The new installation replaced the old iron gate, which has stood for decades.
Avril Murray from Bonnie Peebles said: "Graeme Hewitson, a Blacksmith from Tweedsmuir was tasked to carry out the work for the Northgate Garden - a lovely little garden in our town.
"Our funds are regularly boosted by the many donations we receive and included in these are gifts from families in memory of loved ones. We felt this project would be an appropriate way to show our appreciation in a more permanent way."
