PEEBLES residents are invited to come along for a chat with their local police officer.
Members of the public can pop into to the Royal Bank of Scotland, on High Street on Wednesday, May 2, between 10am and 3pm when community beat officer PC Diane Sorrell will be on hand to offer general crime prevention advice and answer any questions relating to local issues.
Among the topics up for discussion will be telephone scams.
PC Sorrell said: “Anyone can fall victim to these scams and I want to offer advice and preventative measures to ensure no one else becomes a victim to these criminals. I look forward to meeting locals on May 2.”
